PURPOSE OF COURSE:
This two-day training module will assist the uniform first responders in conducting a thorough initial investigation into all types of death investigations. This training module is also structured so that uniform officers and supervisors, who conduct follow-up investigations will receive additional information that will aid them in the performance of their job.
COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Classroom Lecture and group exercises.

C. Securing the Scene
D. Natural Death Investigation
E. Suicide Investigation
F. Non-Vehicular Accidental Deaths
G. Officer Involved Shootings and Other in Custody Deaths
H. Miranda and Other Initial Problems on Death Scenes
COURSE PREREQUISITES: No prerequisites required.
